These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tierlinq.com and TierLinQ services. By using the site, applying for a listing, purchasing a membership or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms.
What TierLinQ is
TierLinQ is a verified directory and business network connecting African diaspora entrepreneurs and African-owned businesses across the United States with customers, partners and each other. TierLinQ is not a party to any transaction between visitors and listed businesses.
What "TierLinQ Verified" means — and does not mean
It means that TierLinQ reviewed specified identity and business-registration information submitted by the business or entrepreneur against our verification criteria.
It does not mean that TierLinQ guarantees or endorses the quality, finances, licensing, products, services or conduct of any business or person. Always do your own due diligence before hiring, buying from or partnering with anyone listed. Verification is never for sale.
Verification documents
By submitting identity or business documents for verification, you certify that they are genuine and belong to you or the business you represent. Submitting fraudulent or falsified materials will lead to rejection of the application and may result in a permanent ban from the platform.
Listing eligibility
Listings are open to African diaspora entrepreneurs and African-owned businesses operating in the United States, as described on our Who can list page. You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it.
TierLinQ may, at its discretion, reject an application or edit, suspend or remove any listing — for example, if information is inaccurate, eligibility criteria are not met, or these Terms are breached.
Premium Membership billing
- Premium Membership is an optional upgrade available to verified, published listings. It is priced at $39 per month or $390 per year, plus any applicable taxes.
- Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time through "Manage billing". Premium benefits continue until the end of the current paid period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time unless required by law.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the payment. Premium may end if payment cannot be collected.
- Premium affects visibility only — it never changes or replaces verification. Prices may change with advance notice.
Event tickets
- Tickets for TierLinQ events are sold exclusively on tierlinq.com. Tickets bought elsewhere are not valid.
- Refunds are at TierLinQ's discretion and depend on the terms of each event, as shown on the event page.
- TierLinQ may change event details, venues or schedules, or cancel an event; we will tell registered attendees as soon as practical.
Event photography and recording
TierLinQ events may be photographed and recorded by TierLinQ or photographers working for TierLinQ. By attending, you agree that photos and video in which you appear may be taken, used and sold — for example, on tierlinq.com, in TierLinQ promotion, and as photo purchases offered to attendees and the public — without payment to you. If you would rather not be photographed, tell event staff at check-in and we will make reasonable efforts to avoid featuring you; you can also ask us to remove a specific photo of you by contacting support@tierlinq.com.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or someone else's information;
- impersonate any person or business;
- scrape, copy or resell directory content in bulk;
- use the site to send spam or unlawful, harassing or harmful content;
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, TierLinQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with listed businesses or entrepreneurs. TierLinQ's total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid TierLinQ in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
