Founder Stories
Meet the Founder: Barel Musenga of BML Business Center

Some founders talk about the digital future. Barel Musenga builds it — one business at a time, from Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Barel is the President and CEO of BML Business Center, a technology firm specializing in software development, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. His path to founding runs through three classrooms: an associate degree in Information Technology from Ivy Tech Community College, a bachelor's in Computer Science from Indiana University Southeast, and a master's in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville. That combination — deep technical training and a teacher's instinct — shapes everything BML does.
He founded the company on a simple conviction: businesses grow when they can actually use technology, not just buy it. BML helps organizations innovate, digitize, and make decisions from their data, and its clients span education, healthcare, finance, and telecommunications — in the United States and beyond.
What sets Barel apart is what he does beyond the client work. He mentors startups and professionals adopting digital tools, invests in community development, and speaks often about advancing Africa's digital economy through AI, software, and sustainable innovation. For him, a business in Jeffersonville and opportunity on the continent are part of the same story.
That is exactly the kind of founder TierLinQ exists to make visible. BML Business Center is one of the first 100 Founding Members building the directory of African diaspora entrepreneurs in America — and Barel's listing is live now.
