What TierLinQ Verified Actually Means

When you see the TierLinQ Verified badge on a business, here's exactly what it tells you — and what it doesn't.
What it means
Every verified listing has been through our review. We confirm the real identity behind the business and review its business-registration information. A verified badge means a real person and a real registered business. Nothing more, nothing less.
What it doesn't mean
Verification is not a guarantee of quality, pricing, licensing, financial health, or conduct. It's a starting point for trust, not the whole of it. We say this plainly because trust built on clarity lasts longer than trust built on fine print.
What it costs
Nothing. Verification is earned through review — it can never be bought, at any price. Premium membership exists, but that's paid visibility, not paid credibility. The two are entirely separate, and they always will be.
How it works
- Application received — the business applies with its details.
- Eligibility review — we confirm it fits who TierLinQ serves.
- Documentation review — identity and registration documents are checked.
- Verified — the badge is earned.
- Published — the listing goes live.
Five steps. No shortcuts, no exceptions.
Why we built it this way
Too many talented African entrepreneurs across America build in isolation — unseen, not for lack of talent, but for lack of visibility. A directory is only as good as the trust behind it. Verification is how we make sure that when someone discovers a business on TierLinQ, they're discovering something real.
Look for the badge. It means something.
